From the bench: MAFIA KILLINGS: MEN OF HONOR, OR NOT?

Three members are dead as a result of a cloak and daggers killing which can only be compared to something out of the grand finale of a magic show. Illusions, deception and outstanding showmanship are the backdrop to an incident that surely questions the mobs values.

The incident which has left three dead, plus bodyguards and has involved crime families across America and surely had the attention of its senior figures, took place only days ago.

Most notable of where to begin is the actions of Mr X an associate of the Dallas Diamond Cutters. Little is know as the reason why, but apparently three days prior to the shooting, Mr X arrived in OOC Avenue claiming he was intending to go rogue (This is a mob term for a mobster to ignore family rules and traditions and acting out alone, most commonly to attack other family members without authorization).

This was made in the presence and hearing of Dallas mobsters, notably present was Ariel Gold a newly promoted Made Man within the family. Instead of quashing the issue either by reporting it to the family leader Jack Diamond, Gold supposedly taunted Mr X by saying that he didn't have the courage to attack Atlanta. I have spoke with two others that confirm this only fueled the easily influenced Mr X, with no actions of his known for another three days, who is to know how much those comments had a part to play.

Three days later an unsuspecting Albert Fish emerged in the business district in the ever growing city of Atlanta. Albert was an initiated member of the Atlanta crime family, headed by Fluffy Winters and it was during his commute shots rang out and a shootout between Mr X and Albert began. For the actions of a rogue this is nothing special but what happens from here has sent shock waves throughout 'The Mob' in America.

Albert fled from the incident to what he hoped would be the safety of Chicago so Mr X returned to OOC Avenue where he asked for the location of Albert Fish, enter CrissCross. The Chicago made man gave away the hiding location for the attacker to follow but did not grant permission to shoot. This seemingly didn't appear to work at the time as Albert Fish soon lay dead in the streets of Chicago and was able to mutter that there were two shooters involved, only one of which being Mr X.

This would be easy to dismiss but only minutes later Detroit Don Mr Fred dispatched his heavy hitter Osha, to kill Mr X. Osha failed and fell to the gun of the wise guy in the surprising location.

Within seconds the Dallas associate killed the boss in Denver, not Chicago where Albert had died only minutes before, supporting the dying words of Albert that there was in fact two shooters. Just when it seemed that Detroit had been dragged into it, New York hit man Liam Collins arrived to kill the rogue shooter and did so efficiently, where or how he came to know about the incident is unknown but those close to Liam claims he would have done so acting in the interest to rid the mob of rogue behavior.

The following has become apparent, the second shooter, if there was one in Atlanta is still at large. The killer has since been identified as Chicago's Criss Cross. CrissCross attend the funerals and pass on his best wishes to loved ones and then condemn and express disgust at the behavior of the rogue involved was the killer. This was confirmed by reports from Atlanta that Chicago boss Azzo Ruggero has offered forward financial compensation and assured bosses he was sternly told off.

Criss Cross is the great grandson of Jest, a former Miami worker, once occupied by Marco Polo and Vito Corleone, was responsible for a war in the south after the rogue attack of the newly appointed Los Angeles boss Francisco Salini. It seems he knew only too well what he was doing when he turned his gun on the injured Atlanta mobster but must have the best acting skills within the mob to convince his credited leader and other families that his life should be spared.

This of course goes against generations of laws and code amongst La Cosa Nostra's society as "Men of Honor" where the law states that Made Men can only be killed with authority. This has prompted a meeting by Jack Diamond with family heads, including his own, to discuss how rogues should be handled and come to an agreement on it.

Mr X has appeared to have opened a shocking revelation that the code of La Cosa Nostra seemingly counts for nothing amongst the men or respect... Or are they?

This just in Mafia Gazette to be sold to the Times for an undisclosed amount of money. Rumor has it that the Mafia Gazette was being run by some of the mafia's most dangerous men. These men were using the paper as their very own propaganda machine. Twisting the facts and poisoning the the very words we read with lies, and deceit.

There very well be more to the Suicide of Randle_McMurphy. The remaining staff at the Gazette will continue to bring you whatever information we can before the doors are shut and new management takes over. Director Mickey Norris has ordered that Randle_McMurphy body be dug up and a second autopsy be performed now that new evidence has been presented that he might have been killed before he fell from the building.
