DAY OF THE ROGUE

Written by Salacious Sal

February 7th, a night like many others for New York button man Little Bruno. He'd been up in Detroit carousing around in Jack Mason's speak-easy. The FBN think he may have been sorting out some keys for boosted cars, a relatively low key crime and a simple one at that. He never would have expected that just before 9pm that night, Felix Foley had collapsed to the ground gurgling. Lynwood David had fallen but a minute later in what looked like a ruthless mob hit and eye witness reports state that no one at the time could find the shooters vantage point.

Minutes later Bruno himself was struck by a rocking severe wound, and his most trusted bodyguard Ishmael was almost at death's door. Luckily they'd managed to escape down an alleyway, and this close shave was over. An hour or so later he had got in contact with New York Consigliere Slick, and he was on the phone sounding out just who could have struck in the Michigan area.

Harry Winston had contacted his Dead Men at a loss, having heard of no confrontation. The ever diligent Slick had continued to dig and one name kept coming up. Razor of the renowned Bash Bros, and close associate of the war heroes Eruzione and Ares, this was to be a tricky predicament. Was this under orders? So soon after war and already the blood of a Made Man had almost been shed. Fish, a man known for being as cool as the Atlantic was apparently in a rage that one of his guys had been touched. What would the New York boys ask for?

At this point a commission had been felt out, with the first issue being that of rogues. But with no solid agreement on how to take care of it, New York seen it as an issue they'd like to deal with themselves, as Ares and Eruzione distanced themselves from Razor okaying the hit as evidence mounted against the grizzled hitter.

Razor's motives aren't really known at this point in time. You could say this was a case of wrong place and time for Little Bruno. With the war finally over some have suggested that Razor, a battle hardened man, saw no place in this life of peace. He wanted to go out a warrior rather than fade into obscurity. But Slick had other ideas as he met him head on, dismantling the protection around him. The fight was largely one sided, and it had entirely gone from Razor at this point and that's when it happened. The execution was complete, with no innocent fatalities.

You'd imagine that was enough excitement for anyone, but not for lowly Atlanta earner Inky, who had been practising his sleight of hand with one of Mason's Diamond boys. Whether he had been spurred on by Razor's actions, or just base stupidity, we do not know, but in a moment of madness he tried to shank Matt Rinse. Dallas reached out immediately to the Bash Bros, and recovered confirmation for it to be dealt with. The hit being outsourced with the FBN having said to be closely monitoring Los Angeles native CrissCross, a newly promoted Consigliere to Wesley following the demise of Jessica Jones.

With the Commission yet to vote on any future rogue situations, it's been whispered just how many families will really be able to take care of their own. Atlanta had two rogues in as many days, and both hits outsourced the other families. It's long been a sticking point that many leaders lack the necessaries to take care of their own people, being too caught up in the love they have for them. But the Commission are believed to be wanting to take a hard line of things, with every rogue to be dealt with swiftly by one and all.

Speculation has been rife as to whether Atlanta's position may become untenable if more rogues sprout out. But with many friends on the Commission and the goodwill from being fierce participants in the war, patience and understanding is what Ares will receive as no doubt other families will have their own bad eggs as Nevada crime boss, Kanan, was attacked by one of his own members recently.

MYSTERIOUS MAYOR

By Rudi Gulliani

Wealth beyond measure, as corrupt as any official could ever be, a staple of our country was the nefarious mayor, kickbacks in the millions from many of the underworld it has long been speculated.

But where had he gone? Has he flown the country with the suitcases of his ill gotten gains? Was he murdered in cold blood? Or was he but a puppet man in place who with new mobsters running the country has crumpled?

Mob sources indicate that Jack Mason had taken a keen interest in the whereabouts of the mayor, a man known to be so tight that he squeaks when he walks. But we're not under the illusion that he's paid the mayor any sum of money. But with a well known blood-lust, has he maybe pulled the trigger on someone too big?

Is his search that of a man with guilt written clear upon his face, trying to finish a mess he had begun? As we were going to print, the mayor had re-surfaced having been gone for weeks, all attempts at getting an interview were met with silence at city hall.

Rumours are now beginning to circulate that the mayor was being held in connection with a massive arms ring. For over three weeks now no one in our country had been able to buy a firearm, but why have stocks dwindled and just what does it have to do with the dodgy mayor?

At the time of print the Mosquito expect a sharp rise in the rates of guns as some have overlooked just how much of a dry spell we're actually experiencing.

COMMISSION RETURNS

By Kat Slater

Ferdinand Boccia, the man of the moment. This star has risen exponentially, yet his own family had been experiencing a dip as they spread across the states, leaving the main Headquarters bereft of bodies. It was to be a thing of legend with all the crime bosses making way to his stately Chicago home. FBN saw licence plates from afar afield as Los Angeles to New York, the whole of the Windy City was abuzz.

Men who had reached the lofty heights of our profession, who were the quickest, the strongest, and the sharpest. Yet the most major stumbling block was to be that of how they decided on voting. At first they just shouted over one another, the votes lost in the chaos - before Ares suggested a sound but open to tampering method. In the end Alex Savagilio suggested a method of which it would all be written down. A contract with each signature placed upon it, to be released at a later date should the other members of our business wish to view.

With that agreement in place you may have imagined the Commission would now sky rocket, but it wasn't so as Jessica Jones, RHM to Wesley, was slain by the FBN. With talk of romantic links between the right hand and Wesley, the reclusive Los Angeles Don could be forgiven for not appointing a new right hand quickly. Or would it perhaps be that those persistent rumours that the man suffers from extreme indecision be the case. Or perhaps it's a distaste for a commission that is already floundering and struggling to even have the smallest of debates, regardless the Los Angeles Don doesn't seem worried that he’s a vote down and with the pace at which the commission is burning through issues it’s unlikely he’ll need it any-time soon.

Reports that reached our desk would suggest the current talk is around the subject of rogues, and how to deal with them. New York took a strong stance and are obviously well aware of how this affects them, having been attacked recently. With Winston & Savagilio both seeming on-board also, Thorn has taken umbrage with the wording of some of Slick’s statements and as of yet we don’t know how this will end, with Thorn very keen that bloodline no matter how repeatedly murky, should have no bearing on the actions of the commission's judgement. Is this just good policy from the men at the commission or does it make the God of Warfare sit uneasily on his throne, having had two rogues from his own family. Ares so far has not ventured an opinion on the debate, as have many other notable members, with some reports citing that Ferdinand Boccia's absence from committing one way or the other is stalling some. With the power that the Chicago Don wields it would be deemed risky to commit to one thing without at least feeling out where his vote would go.

WHERE IS SHE?

By Ravishing Republic

It was a lonely Friday night, a glass of wine on my desk and some slow music playing in the background, I was looking through the chance encounters section, the hopes and dreams of our nation hoping that in that one lightning struck moment, love was to be had. Oh you poor helpless fools.

“Platform 9, Will you be mine,

I saw your face, in that crowded place,

You called me cute, what’s that aboot?

Lady with the toe, be my hoe?”

Such flowing words, this must have been a beauty to behold, our dear reader smitten. We've since heard he’s taken to growing facial hair, struggling to wash or even move out of his seat. Such was the effect this creature of beauty has had on him. So my dear readers, it’s now your job to help this man get in touch with this girl. The description is of a girl with blond locks, emerald eyes so green you feel you’re in a verdant forest.

But the biggest curiosity of all, her one feature that would be unmistakeable, it’s a very large toe, like a massive driver on the green. Like the bulbous end of a caveman's weapon of choice, something so large as to put even CrissCross’s ego pale in comparison, yes my dear readers this isn't so much as get the glass slipper and find Cinderella.

No we’re on the hunt for “Big Foot”

So let’s find this Canadian lass and let us hope she is not merely toying with this poor besotted man's heart.

OBITUARY SECTION

Undertaker’s are beginning to think they’re out of work, with the steady rise in how organized crime has become, the death toll has dipped to extreme levels, it was always considered a profession in which the bodies would just keep on coming. But the once recession proof funeral business is in trouble, the only recent notable death is that of one Matt Rinse, Dallas Captain, former target of an Atlanta rogue. Boris had come to the funeral claiming that he'd been the one to finish of Rinse, but our own reports cite that WiseOldMan had been fooling around and an accidental shot had murdered Rinse, or was it a case of WiseOldMan removing competition?

Funeral for Matt-Rinse

Born: Jan 26th 16 2:15PM in Chicago

Died: Feb 21st 16 6:55AM in Dallas

Rank: Capo

Dearly beloved,

We have gathered today to say our final farewell to yet another victim of violence that plagues our cities.

If Matt-Rinse had a chance to say some final words before passing. I'm certain they would be...

What a shit character..

2016-02-21 08:00 - Boris Just a reminder how shit... Rip buddy should have let me do it :(

Your shots find the target, but Matt-Rinse does not miss, either.

Matt-Rinse has suffered a fatal wound.
