-Battle for New York-

The stage was set it seemed for a showdown of the ages. Sources confirmed that Godfather Nash had recalled his forces to New York, and they had largely made it in safely. Ghost-Dog, FrankUnderwood, Joseph-Porter, Goldie, Sin and various captains were there. Also confirmed to be in New York are Godfathers AlexSavaglio, Yuliana, Ares and Dons Todaro, Blister, Harvey_Dent. It was an interesting play to this reporter. The started out quietly with citizens going about their daily business and some chatter in the street. Quickly though the streets ran red with blood and shots quickly began to ring out.

Don Blister went first, catching the wrong plane and landing early. The Don did his best, but only managed 1 shot before Ghost-Dog managed to fire a shot that made it past Don Blisters security and entered the base of his skull, killing him instantly. The fighting was savage and intense, with bodyguards and gangsters dying quickly as gunmen moved methodically street by street. This reporter had to seek refuge with a veteran of the last great war, who calmly drank his whiskey with a revolver in his hand, he remarked that it was so brutal it reminded him of the Battle for Berlin.

Godmother Yuliana was second on the scene and quickly went to work, shooting anything that seemed to move in New York. Bodyguards quickly began to die, and demand pay raises. Don Joesph-Porter was killed by the Godmother, before she left the city for safety. Godfather Savaglio was third on the scene, the aging Godfather still had some fight in him and also quickly went to work firing off shots at anything that moved. It was a dangerous day to be in New York, as Gangsters continued to fall, though the leaders seemed to be holding their own. After sustaining multiple casualties to his security the Godfather left the city to sort out his protection detail. Godfather Nash managed to lockdown the airport and train station using his influence with the Mayor. Godfather AlexSavaglio was lucky to find the Bishop was willing to help him get out safely.

Don Todaro of Los Angeles was fourth on the scene, managing to fire 20 shots, killing the New York Boss Sin, before he sustained a severe wound after being shot by Ghost-Dog. Don Todaro also sought the help of the Bishop and cleared New York where sources say he was quickly taken to hospital in Dallas under heavy guard. Don Harvey Dent of Las Vegas was the fifth shooter on the scene, and was taken to task sustaining heavy losses to his security before managing to kill the New York Consigliere Goldie, and also seeking the help of the Bishop to clear the city. At press time travel to and from New York was still locked down. It seems this was a loss for New York, who sustained heavy losses of their shooters. As this reporter said earlier, and unusual play but one that seemed to work. The question now is what will happen next? With the Bishop helping so many out of the city it seems unlikely he will do so again any time soon. The Governor of New York has declared a state of emergency, releasing a statement saying in part “The Police are overwhelmed with the fighting, and I urge everyone to stay in their homes while we work to restore order” it can also be confirmed the Governor is considering activating the National Guard.
