EDITORIAL

In a commercial decision, the managers of The Crime Observer decided to move our headquarters to the city of Detroit. From now on our paper will be written, print and published from Detroit to the whole US. We also decided to open our paper to advertisement in order to allow us to have new sources of income to have a better financing of the company to ensure we can provide a better quality paper, every single issue we release.



FBI HUNTS IN CHICAGO

J. Edgar Hoover, head of the FBI, met with the President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt, at the White House last week to discuss the new strategy to place in work in order to decrease the rates related to organized and violent crime. In a short press conference after the meeting, Hoover stated that he is about to recruit one hundred new agents with the idea to create a new elite team who’s going to start “a war against organized crime”. Mr. Hoover also said that “those man whose lifestyle is about damaging the life of law abiding citizens and to destroy the great society of our nation, are destined to spend a long time in jail. Men like God Himself have their days counted, because I am putting him and his men behind bars”. There’s now some expectation surrounding this announcement and it’s yet unpredictable what consequences this will bring to God Himself and to his crime organization and if there’s any possibility of retaliations against the agents of the bureau in order to maintain the power and control over the city of Chicago.

MIAMI GOLDEN BALLS

It seems that there is a new gambling racket being ran on a nationwide range, and Mr. Carlitos Way, a Miami mobster, associate of Don Corleone, is the man in charge of the operation. We managed to find out that the game involves potentially 50 million dollars every week., Mike Ramirez, Police Commissioner of Miami, as stated this week in a press conference that this is a “worrying situation, since gambling attract the of common citizens, while drugs and booze don’t tend to attract that kind of people”. So it’s expected that the police are taking measures in order to dismantle this racket, in an attempt that citizens, and not only mobsters, become disinterested to the big profits of this game, because if they end up placing bets, that fact would make of them criminals in the eyes of the law. More updates about this situation on the next following issues.




WHO’S MISS MILAZZO?

To some, she is the “fresh air” that the underworld needed. In a line of work where discretion is almost a tradition, she seems to be going against that idea. Some sort of “new age” some say. Whatever is her goal, we can say for sure that her methods are different. While others hide behind the curtain, this lady can be found regularly on the streets. She doesn't seem to fear the public exposure and she even encourages their associates by telling them that life should be easier and much more fun. And she means it. A part of running a small criminal operation in Atlanta, she is usually found on speakeasies and in social events, and it’s not uncommon to see her side by side with influential politicians and Hollywood movie stars., Whoever she is, one thing can be said for sure - She might be the one who can take the city of Atlanta to another level.

MASTERS IN DENVER

Denver was until a few days ago one of the only cities in America without being under the control of the mob. That changed when Garret proclaimed the territory of that city to his own, with the nod of the other bosses. The city is now being controlled by the recently formed gang known as the “American Masters”. Can’t be confirmed at the moment but rumors are that Adamo Baresi might be the second man in charge of this crime syndicate. It is not known yet what type of criminal activity they’re involved with, not what kind of association they might have with other families in the US. A journalist from a Colorado press news company has stated that “They are very ambitious, and Police department are going to have a hard time with them, that’s for sure”.


SOCIETY OF THE BORED

In this world of ours there’s a lot of bored and boring people, which ultimately creates a very boring society. If you think that being a gangster gives you fancy, exciting, glamorous lifestyle, you’re apparently wrong. The recent cases of Camrym and Ryan_V_Tedder prove that theory to be right. They were so bored about this boring environment, that they decided the best option they had was to go rogue and try to bring some other mobsters with them to take a swim with the fishes. In order to fight this tendency, the Society of Bored was created, having as their chairman Rant Casey, and Mr. Abby Normal as their Vice-Chairman. When they presented the society to the public, they stated that their main goal is to find ways to free the country of the boredom, and before saying exactly what needs to be done, they are encouraging membership with the intention to create a larger group who are going to discuss and define their agenda for the future.
