NEW BEGINNINGS

Miami has had a chequered past mired with scandal and deceit but it appears that the new leadership is eager to put the problems of past to bed and has taken the bold steps of going to the street and apologise for the sins of the previous leadership. This move is in direct opposition to their previous style of defending the actions of the past and might have won them sone good grace with the other families. The statement was made by the, now late, affable Captain Paul Vario whose presence on these streets will be sorely missed by many nationally.

The statement goes on to mention how the son of Al Fabinchino will soon be returning from Sicily where he was hiding out for fear of retribution for his father's actions and they hoped other families wouldn't see this as a sign of things to come and hoped that they would forgive the bloodline for its actions. Time will tell is this bloodline will go onto further infamy and whether they will be able to fill their fathers boots who is known for master minding the Great horse racing scandal.

THE CLONE WARS CONTINUE

We here at In Your Vaste as reported previously on the government warnings on cloning and the recent amnesty therefrom. This war continues and we note that there have been a couple of executions recently but nothing on the scale anyone would anticipate after such an amnesty and it has led many to question how much leniency have the authorities given? There has been numerous grumblings that not enough has been done so much so that it has led to people like Noddy accusing the authorities of bluffing. After the first 2 executions the current punishment is rumoured to be being banned from the upcoming Halloween festivities, which many have suggested they might not participate in anyway, and a small fine. Many unnamed sources have asked whether, with the level of punishment currently being meted out, it's profitable to clone due to the low probability of being court coupled with the leniency of the punishments.

As the current punishments are only for those who have admitted to their faults maybe this leniency is justified and we here at In Your Vaste are eager to learn what the punishment will be for those lacking remorse who continue to clone.

A CHANGE GONE COME

Since the passing of Al Fab there hasn't been a paper passing without Miami finding a way to worm their way into the paper and it comes as breaking news that Miami based indecision maker Santino has now decided to change the name of his family again to show his seperation from the deceased former decision makers and making public the fact that Al's son has decided to go to greener pastures. Questions have been raised around speakeasies as to what this can mean but most people haven't taken this current announcement with much seriousness at all with many people finding it amusing. I don't know how the members feel about their current leader announcing every thought he's ever had and are waiting for him to announce that he fancies spaghetti and meatballs for dinner very shortly.

So after all the effort to get Al's son, Vinny Gisseppe, back from Sicily many might ask why Vinny has left his former boss. Vinny has advised that it was a matter of respect specifically stating "If you give the skipper 75m and within 24 hours they're asking for another 100m it's probably time to leave".

As a gesture of goodwill and in view of Miami's financial issues all profits from this weeks issue of the paper will be donated to the Santino anti bankruptcy foundation.

THE BAD APPLE

In recent news, we have learnt that a dispute was avoided through excellent diplomacy between New York Don Stone and Chicago boss Heimdall. To recap, in a drunken stupor New York boss Decalvo took it upon himself to start shooting at Heimdall despite his boss' Stone's explicit instructions saying that Heimdall was protected after he was victorious in the street boss competition.

In an effort to avert a war Heimdall contacted the then new York captain Behemoth who immediately alerted the rest of his family about the drunk rogues action.

A hunting party was quickly formed to eliminate the rogue but he successfully went on the lamb and reached out to Heimdall to sue for peace.

Heimdall and Stone managed to arrange a sit down to discuss peace terms and, we understand that, Stone even offered up Decalvo's head on a platter. Heimdall, who is well known for his forgiving nature after he forgave 2 past incidents where his bodyguards have been shot and killed, negotiated a deal which allowed Decalvo to live in exchange for monies, horses and territories.

Reporters at In Your Vaste are big fans of the sit down route taken in this instance and wonder if other disputes will be settled in this manner. In the meantime, we hope Decalvo lays off the liqueur for a little while.
