EMILIA RICCI, A WOMAN AMONGST MEN
by Martin Gottlieb

She’s a long term disciple, protégé and underboss of James McErloy. With the bless Detroit’s boss, she is now leading her own crime syndicate in Los Angeles. Until a few days ago, and at least in recent history, she’s the only women leading a crime family. It is known that two of the most important members of her crew, ‘The Misfits’, are ‘Holy Wench’, another women, and ‘Ossick’. All of them had started their crime career in Detroit. Question is not to understand if Emilia Ricci will be capable to build a name for herself, as a leader of her own project. It’s unclear whether if the Misfits are a capo regime for the Saints and Sinners or if she’s running a business of her own. It’s now a question of time until we can find out if being a woman amongst men is going to be a good or a bad thing.

ETTORE CEDONE, LEADER FOR A DAY
by David Boardman

Until very recently Ettore was a New York Gangster, working for “50k” Gomez, when he decided to go on his own and run a crime syndicate. He had probably one of the shortest careers as a leader in the world of crime, being found dead just a few hours after he got the bless from the other bosses to run his business in Atlanta. Police found his body in Las Vegas. Rumors are that Miami’s crime-lord Vito Corleone committed himself the murderer. The reasons behind this fatal disclosure of events are not fully known, but apparently it seems to be a case of disrespect. Many say that Ettore was trying to take out Corleone in order to get the city of Miami to himself, and the fact that one of Miami’s Made Man, associate of Mr. Corleone, decided to try to coup his own boss just after Ettore’s assassination seems to prove that theory to be right. Miami is part of what’s called in the underworld as the ‘Triangle’, where Mr. God, McElroy and Corleone arranged some sort of a pact to keep the order of things. Question is now to known how uncomfortable other leaders will feel to know that Mr. Corleone has let a man being made into his family who did not proved to be trustworthy. “Who knows if that’s the only one?” An analyst of the FBI asked to himself. The next few days will tell us if there are going to be repercussions about this situation. Until then it’s fair to assume that there might be a change in people’s opinion about Mr. Corleone’s judging and leading capabilities.

MAFIA TODAY
Article by Samuel Stoddard

We’ve been seeing the growth of organized criminal activity, generally speaking, in the whole country. If months ago we only had three strong and well established families in the US, we can now say that nowadays other three and new potentates are being formed in the city of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York. It’s not a bad assumption to say that even Denver and Atlanta are on their way to do the exact same, on a long term perspective. These are very bad news for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and very good news to those mobsters who always dreamed of extending their influence within all the main states of America. To me, this can only mean two things. First - that the old ‘Triangle’ of Chicago, Miami and Detroit will be forced to be open their arms to embrace and listen what the other three forces have to say. Second - That if they want to keep things easy and quiet they will have to start establishing rules, and in my opinion that could be achieved with a some sort of solid commission. Because organization needs structure and rules. When big machines like this, whose muscle has just double all of a sudden, is let be ran on his own, without direction, it’s never a good thing.

THE SAINTS ARE BACK
by Jim Witt

Until a week ago Mr. James McElroy was in a sort of semi-retirement. Whatever made him give temporarily the power of his family to Emilia Ricci, seems not to be an issue anymore. We’ve spoke to the police department of Detroit and a law enforcement officer, who wished to remain anonymous, said that “This means he’s not finished yet. He has something on his sleeves, and he came back exactly to throw that card on the table”. Question is to understand what he is still has to offer to Detroit and how weak his organization might have become with the departures of Mickey Costelle and Emilia Ricci., two of his most important associates. Whatever is the outcome of this new beginning in Detroit, one thing we can expect: That No one will question his authority in Detroit. He stills the undisputed leader of the motor city, and those next in line – Bentley, Leo McElroy and Lord Lucan – don’t seem to be going to change that fact soon.

COSTELLE AND THE SIN CITY
by Robert Campbell

Mickey Costelle proved himself to be a man of ambition. When he assumed the control of Atlanta, nothing seemed to be hinting that Costelle was already looking to move his crime organization to a bigger city. But he did it, for the surprise of everyone. And now he’s the new leader of Vegas. Historically and traditionally the city of Las Vegas is one of the most important cities to mob culture and now what everybody is questioning themselves is If Mr. Costelle is ready to face the dimension of his task. It’s a battle against the legends of the city, many say, citing names like the charismatic and now retired Godfather of the city, Mr. Ronin. Like it or not, for the good or the bad reasons, he’s being the leader who’s been distinguish himself from the rest of his counterparts. If that is s a good thing? Only time will tell.
