CITIZEN MURPHY KIDNAPPED!

Breaking news has just reached the press office about an alleged high profile kidnapping. Early information sources suggest that elderly Citizen Murphy, was taken at gunpoint late on Sunday afternoon, in what police are calling a ‘well organised plan’. It was almost certainly masterminded by several of the prominent figures from the mafia underworld, but no names have surfaced at this point.

“This wasn’t the work of an opportunist” said Sergeant Felix Upton of the local crime force, speaking to us this morning outside the Murphy residence, “Clearly this job was carried out by a group of individuals working together with what appears to have been clinical proficiency. They’d probably been watching her for days, it’s unlikely she had any idea what was happening until it was all too late”.

Witnesses say the target, a bitter and lonely old woman, was at the time just being walked back to the care home where she now lives, by an entourage of bodyguards. Several vehicles pulled up, the bodyguards were instantly overpowered and whisked away with Murphy disappearing in the process.

“It all happened so fast, nobody really knew what was happening. By the time we realised, it was all over. They looked like professionals, they knew exactly what they were doing” commented a nearby resident, too afraid to be named.

Other people interviewed at the scene responded with mixed feelings about the incident, and about Murphy in general. "It's not fair, she's just an old lady with no friends. She may have made a few enemies in her younger years, but nobody deserves to be treated like that. They gagged her on the street, tied a bag over her head, beat her repeatedly and then threw her into the back of a van like an animal. It was no way to treat a frail old woman like her." said one woman, whilst separately, a man summed up many other comments, when he was quoted as saying "She fucking deserved it, she's screwed over so many people in her life that I'm surprised it's never happened before now".

It's unclear exactly what Murphy was carrying at the time, but a large cache of arms and ammunition along with a substantial amount of money, is almost certainly the case according to rumours. The prominent Citizen was well known for financing several infamous mafia hits in times gone by, but lately has been seen as weakened, since allegedly losing her protector, a mystery man known only as ********A.

The underworld is alight as rumours of the brazen job run through it like wildfire. As yet though, apart from rampant conjecture, nothing solid has emerged. Nobody is claiming responsibility at this stage.

If history is anything to go by, Murphy will of course attempt to pay other people to exact revenge for her, she’s expected to put out hits on whoever she suspects, but who that is remains to be seen. It's widely believed the chances of her actually getting her own hands dirty, in whatever transpires, are very slim indeed.


BENTLEY DEAD IN POLICE SHOOTOUT!

News surfaced late last week of a bloody and, up to a point, one sided battle down at city plaza. Several seemingly carefully selected members of the city police force were involved, when Bentley a respected Detroit Consigliere, suffered a fatal wound during a shootout that also claimed the lives of several Agents. Police reports suggest that the man, known to his friends as Bruno, murdered several G-Men as they left the HQ after an evening shift. From a position across the street, the Detroit hitman fired the first shot, but it was a Sergeant that was eventually responsible for taking him down.

“It was carnage!” said Sergeant Xavier Young, speaking to us from his hospital bed, “We were just getting ready to go home after the shift and suddenly there’s gunshots ringing out. It was blind panic! I’m looking around and there’s Agents dropping dead on every side of me, I take out my gun and just as I go to get my aim, a round hits me the shoulder. It was more of an impulse squeeze on the trigger I guess, but the bullet I fired hit him square in the head. He was dead instantly. In all honesty it was more lucky reflex than anything else, I’m just glad to be alive”.

Bentley was well liked throughout the mafia community. Described as a gentleman, he was the latest from a long bloodline of highly ranked mafioso. His funeral was held shortly after his death, an event that turned out to be a mafia who’s who from up and down the country, as many faces showed up to pay their final respects.


ELINA GRASOVA - THE DEATH OF A TRANSVESTITE

Following an anonymous tip off, received at the press office recently, we investigated the mysterious death of ElinaGrasova, an odd looking woman recently found face down in a disused dumpster. The hallmark execution-style hit had gangland written all over it, but unsurprisingly the police had little to go on.

Such events are not uncommon in the secret world of the mafia, but the material we were sent in conjunction with this particular case led us to dig a little deeper. After paying off several staff at what we will call an undisclosed mortuary, I can reveal that autopsy findings prove that Miss Grasova was indeed a man!

We can exclusively reveal to you today, that the man behind the makeup was none other than the son of disgraced coward Francesco Sanili, the infamous former crew leader who spent his final days on the missing list before winding up dead in Los Angeles. Officially we are still waiting for test results to confirm the identity, but the pathologists we spoke to were in no doubt.

“Oh it was definitely a man” joked our undisclosed source, “just about, if you know what I mean. We’re still waiting for the head office labs to confirm his identity from the blood samples we took, but we did our own analysis here and we’re 100% that it’s the Sanili boy.”

With no evidence to go on currently, we can only guess at who the finger behind the fateful trigger belonged to, but with such a revelation, the list of possibilities could be somewhat extensive. One thing you can however be sure of, is that as soon as we know, so will you.


ANOTHER MADE MAN SLAIN IN JAIL!

News hit the wire this week of another high profile jail attack, which left a Made Man dead, shortly followed by his Thug attacker. Michael Jordan, a member of New York’s ‘Brooklyn Mob’, was asleep in jail when a relatively unknown Thug from Atlanta attacked him.

Guards from the New York Jail received witness reports from other inmates claiming the attacker launched himself at the sleeping man, repeatedly stabbing him to within an inch of his life. Jordan apparently woke from his slumber, to find himself critically wounded and instantly fighting for his life. He tried in vain to fight back, but couldn’t manage to kill his assailant before succumbing to the wounds he’d suffered.

The news of his death circulated quickly, and his New York family acted swiftly. The resulting Thug death was inevitable, as revenge was carried out.

Questions are now being asked, as to the motives for the Atlanta based attack on New York. A fledgling family currently being set up were recently in the limelight following the unexplained death of their founding member Tallulah. Amid promises of a peaceful and community based Atlanta presence, rumours are now rife that the pledge of nonviolence by the cities latest criminal outfit is merely a cover for this poorly orchestrated attack. Their future appears to hang in the balance.



MIAMI ROGUE FAILS COUP ATTEMPT AS LAS VEGAS TROUBLES REIGNITE

In less recent news, the story of Ettore Cedone’s short leadership run came to light, and with it a surprising insight into a failed attempt to kill Miami Consigliere Vito Corleone during bizarre circumstances in Las Vegas.

It seems that Mr Corleone had somewhat of a feud developing with Cedone over comments made by the Capo at a recent funeral. As we’ve all come to learn, respect is a highly valued commodity in this world that we live, the lack of it can and often does lead to death. Cedone went on record, insinuating that unsavoury behaviour and unsanctioned murder were part and parcel of the Miami crime faction that calls itself the Miami East Coast Enterprise and is headed by front man Corleone.

Understandably, Mr Corleone took great exception to the comments made about the Miami outfit, and levied his frustration at outspoken Capo Cedone. At the time Cedone was allied to a family, and as a mark of respect, Vito took his gripe no further. Yet upon Cedone’s release, during his bid to lead a family of his own, Corleone saw the barriers to his retribution lifted and swiftly brought an end to the Capo’s life.

Las Vegas had been tagged as somewhat of a no-go zone following the recent Street Boss wars that plagued much of the city and its business district. The city descended into chaos on several occasions as it was torn apart by rival factions in a vicious power struggle dubbed on the underworld grapevine as ‘The Race To Made’. Following a long period of violence, order began to take hold of the city, until recent events brought that all crashing down.

Eye witness reports placed Ettore Cedone and a man known as Lawless at a secret meeting spot. A business meeting appeared to be taking place between these men and the oddly named Citizen Roadrunner. A large number of bodyguards were apparently present with the Citizen, and several underworld figures identified these as formerly belonging to the late Chicago Consigliere ProfaciA. Little is known about how these bodyguards came into the employ of Mr Roadrunner, but indications point to a deal being done between the men present for the resale of their services.

The word on the street is that the infamous Chicago Consigliere was victim to a devious ploy involving several corrupt Police officials. Apparently ProfaciA was drugged and transported to Jail in the middle night of the night, where he was subsequently found murdered. Citizen Roadrunner was strategically placed to collect the resulting bodyguards and eventually distribute them between the newly formed family that Cedone was starting.

Indeed, the arrival of Vito Corleone brought about an abrupt end to the meeting as the Miami main man entered the Las Vegas meeting place with guns blazing. His first shot struck Cedone between the eyes, killing him outright, with deadly efficiency. Then, after successfully avoiding the failed coup attempt, he turned his gun on Made Man Lawless, putting him down in similar fashion.

“It was obviously an elaborate scheme that they were trying to unfold in secret” remarked a local businessman, “Cedone and his associates were trying to form a family using the illicitly obtained bodyguards, that’s probably why Roadrunner was there, he’d picked them all up and hidden them away until the heat had died down and was just in the process of handing them off when Corleone came and ruined their party. The fact that Lawless went rogue after Cedone’s murder just further bolsters the belief that he was planning to leave his Miami employer and move to join him. The question is, how many others were also going to follow suit?”

Citizen Roadrunner was last seen on a plane to Chicago, where he now resides under the protection of The Cult. The whereabouts of the bodyguards, around which the whole story seems to revolve, is unknown at this time. One thing's for sure however, they’re not under the employ of Cedone or Lawless.
